C4e is a centre of excellence of Masaryk University fostering collaboration between expert research departments on the following three research programmes: Critical Information Infrastructures Protection, Cybersecurity, and Law.
Institute of Law and Technology, Faculty of Law MU
Institute of Law and Technology (ILT) was established at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, in 2010 as the first academic institution in the Czech Republic focusing on technology-related law. Members of the institute engage in research, teaching, publications and projects in cyberlaw, intellectual property law, legal informatics, energy law, biotechnology law and food law.
MU Security Department (CSIRT-MU)
CSIRT-MU is Masaryk University Computer Security Incident Response Team. It deals not only with security incidents, but also with the detection of these incidents in the university computer network and with the help of users in the field of computer security.
Association of Industrial Partners (SPP)
Cooperation with the application sphere is now becoming a part of the university's everyday life in research, development and teaching. Two-way beneficial cooperation creates the necessary feedback for the business sector as a source of innovation process.

CERIT - Science Park
Science Park at the Faculty of Informatics at the Masaryk University in Brno. The project was created under the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. CERIT Science Park provides background for start-ups and already established ICT companies that use synergies with top-class research capacities.
University of Vienna (Universität Wien)
The University was founded in 1365 by the Duke of Rudolph IV. Habsburg, according to the Parisian Sorbonne. It is the oldest university in German-speaking countries, it is also the largest educational and research institution in Austria and one of the largest universities in Europe. Currently it offers 187 degree programs in a wide range of disciplines. There are 55 bachelor, 116 master (12 in English), 4 diploma and 12 doctoral degrees. In 2012/13, it awarded nearly 11,000 bachelor, 1100 master and 585 doctoral degrees.
VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava (VŠB-TU)
VŠB - TU Ostrava has more than 165 years of existence. It provides bachelor, master and doctoral studies at 7 faculties and three university study programs in full-time and combined form. It is involved in many major research and development projects. It cooperates with a number of domestic and foreign universities and with the private sector.
